E-Mail Marketing Promotion
Many companies have regular e-mail blasts that go out on a weekly or monthly basis. If you have such a system, add an announcement about the upcoming show and your participation in it. If you do not have e-mail blasts, generate a file with e-mails of people you are currently working with, and use this to send reminders. A few things to remember about e-mail promotion:
• Be sure not to “spam” (send e-mails to a large list of people who you don’t know or haven’t had prior communications with). Only e-mail people who are in your system that you communicate with on a regular basis.
• Don’t overdo it. People are becoming increasingly annoyed with “junk e-mail.” We recommend you not to send an e-mail every day or you’ll be counter productive to your purposes.
Define an e-mail marketing strategy and you will be able to drive a lot of targeted traffic to your booth the day of the event.
